Michael Jordan - A look back!
As we look back at the year 2003, we will remember it as the
last time we were able to see Michael Jordan play in the NBA.
The greatest basketball player ever retired at age 40, for
the third and final time. There were some memorable moments
in Jordan's final NBA season. The 2003 All-Star game featured
a final tribute to Michael Jordan, with a special half-time
presentation performed by Mariah Carey. The Miami Heat retired
his number, marking the first in sports history where another
team retired a player's jersey in his honor. His two-year
return in the NBA will never diminish his legacy. Jordan finished
his career with 32,292 points, his career average 30.12 ppg
is the best in NBA history. Thanks Michael for coming back
one last time!
